As students learn about 3D shapes, they will need practice identifying, labeling, and creating the different shapes. There are lots of inexpensive, fun materials that students can use to practice making the shapes.
Toothpicks and Clay
Toothpicks and Styrofoam Balls
Toothpicks and Mini Marshmallows
Pretzels and Gumdrops
Younger students could also be coloring, tracing, sorting, matching, identifying, and labeling 3D shapes.

I like the gum drop idea. I've never seen that before, but it's a fun edible alternative to marshmallows !
