~ Children can practice making the different types of lines with simple, inexpensive manipulatives such as the following:

~ Students can look for examples of the different types of lines at home, school, or even outdoors in the environment. They could tally, count, list, sketch, or take photos of the lines.
~ They could also use old magazines and the internet to find pictures of the different types of lines. They could sort and/or label the pictures and use them to make a book, poster, or slide show about LINES.
