Cats are Mammals.

The kids might enjoy making this fun paper bag cat and reading books about cats.

Materials

• paper bag
• crayons/paints
• scissors
• glue
• printer + 2 sheets of paper
• 2 templates (from DLTK)

There are lots of good books (non-fiction and fiction) available for kids to read about cats. Here is just a small sampling.

This book and Read Along Audio CD-Rom is great for young children! The narrator does an awesome job of reading the story to the kids. (There are lots of other titles about animals in this series also.)
