I want to share a few fun summer learning activities.
A fun summer activity for kids is a butterfly word search puzzle which can be used to introduce or review butterfly vocabulary.
Some of the 18 words included in the activity are camouflage, caterpillar, insect, metamorphosis, pupa, vertebrate, wings, etc.

~ Word search puzzles are great for young kids because they help build core early learning skills while feeling like play!
~ They strengthen vocabulary, spelling, attention, visual scanning, pattern recognition and confidence!
~ Children repeatedly see and process new words in themed puzzles.
~ Finishing a puzzle gives kids a visible achievement, boosting self-esteem and encouraging more reading-related activities.
Two other fun butterfly activities are learning about the butterfly life cycle and the butterfly anatomy.
