Whereas summer is almost here, I created 2 easy-to-use printable phonics games on beginning sounds a-z for the kids to use as they review reading skills. Games are a fun way for kids to review basic skills and maintain their previous learning!
You can print the games for home or school. These free phonics board games are over at my website. Just click HERE to go there to get your copies so that you can print the games. The kids could use dice (1 die) or a spinner to play the games and practice beginning letter sounds.
In these games children in kindergarten or first grade say a word that begins with the letter that they land on. Preschool childen could say the name or the sound of the letter that they land on.
The letters for kids to practice with the robot themed game are a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o, p, r, s, t, u, and v.
The letters for the kids to practice with the dalmatian themed game are a, b, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, n, o, p, q, u, v, w, x, y, and z.
I usually print the phonics games on cardstock or photo paper. You can laminate the game or put it in a plastic sleeve to make the game more durable.
Just print the games and you are ready to go!
Have fun this summer playing educational games to review basic skills with the kids so they will maintain their previous learning and be ready to return to school in the fall!
