I love Christmas but I know everyone is so busy at this time of year! 

To help you, I have 9 free, no-prep, easy to use, holiday worksheets for you to use with your students.

The 9 worksheets are for Literacy and MathThey all have a Christmas theme. 

The grade span is from Kindergarten to Grade 6.

  

All of the worksheets review a math or language arts skill and each has some fun holiday coloring for the kids.

Making Cube Ornaments in Math Class

Here's a fun way to combine Math (Geometry) with an easy Holiday Craft Activity.                 



Materials Needed
  • computer paper
  • printer
  • colored pencils/crayons/paint etc. (optional)
  • scissors
  • glue or tape

Cubes are 3D shapes with 6 sides.  All the sides are squares!

You can download a Cube model (NET) from the Math is Fun Website. Click on the link below.

You can use any paper that works in a printer to print the models.

Students can decorate the 2D Shape (NET), if desired. Then they will need to cutfold, and glue or tape the 2D paper shape to make a 3D Figure.

These 3D Shaped CUBES can be used as colorful holiday ornaments or as decorations at Christmas or any time of the year. They can be hung  in windows, from the ceiling, on a mobile, on a tree, etc.

  • 8 vertices (corners)
