Spring CVC Printable Reading Game for Kids

Today I have a new, free Spring themed printable CVC game for you to use with your students.

SPRING CVC PRINTABLE WORD GAME

CVC words are simple three-letter words that follow the pattern (consonant, vowel, consonant). Each word begins and ends with a consonant and has a short vowel in the middle. (Examples: dog, cat, bat, wet, red)

This game has 33 CVC words for your students to read. The game is lots of fun for children and will help them learn to read words on their own and grow their knowledge of simple words which will help grow their confidence in their reading skills.

This CVC game will fit in well with your curriculum in kindergarten and first grade. Plus the game is no-prep! Just print and go!

I usually laminate my printable games to make them last longer but if you prefer you can use a plastic sleeve to keep the games protected. 

CVC WORD GAME

Your students will need dice or a spinner to play the game. You can also print out free (quiet) paper dice at my website (same link as above) when you print out the game. 

I like to print on oaktag which now comes in lots of bright colors.
