4 Printable Digraph Games for Kindergarten and First Grade

 I now have 2 more free printable DIGRAPH GAMES for you to use with your students. You can download the 2 new games from my website with the 2 previous games already posted.

The first new game is for Digraphs CH & SH and the second new game is for Digraphs TH and WH.

The games are no-prep, interactive, and easy to use. Both games fit in well with a kindergarten or first grade curriculum.

All 4 of the digraph games are fun for students and will help reinforce phonics skills with your students. Word games are great tools for learning phonics and a fun addition to your literacy centers. All 4 of the games support students' phonemic awareness of consonant digraphs in a fun, engaging way! 

I usually laminate my game boards or put them in a plastic sleeve for students to use.

L Blends Printable Phonics Game

Learning about blends is an important skill for students to master and will help students as they learn to sound out words. 

Students need strong reading foundation skills in Kindergarten and Grade 1. 

Today I have a new, free, printable, BLENDS GAME  for you to use with your students in kindergarten or first grade. The game is engaging for students and will fit in well with your curriculum. This game features the L Blends. It includes bl, cl, fl, gl, pl, and sl.

L Blends Printable Game

Consonant blends are two or three consonant letters that appear together in a syllable or word. Each letter in a blend retains its own sound which is blended together. 

Some of the words included in the L Blends game are blue, black, clap, cloud, flag, fly, glad, glue, play, plug, sled, and slime. 

The game which is only one page is no prep, so easy to use, and a great tool to use with your students. Just download to your printer. Save yourself lots of prep time!

The kids will need 1 or 2 dice or a spinner to play the game. The kids will take turns reading the words with L Blends.

I like to laminate my game boards or put them in a plastic sleeve for durability.
