Here is a free Reptile Word Search Puzzle for you to use with your students. The puzzle includes 12 different reptiles.

The reptiles included are alligator, chameleon,  crocodile, dinosaur, gecko, iguana, lizard, skink, snake, tortoise, tuatara, and turtle.

Today I uploaded a Free Water Cycle Word Search Puzzle to my website that you can use with your students. The puzzle has 15 science vocabulary words that are important for students to know.

2 Free Venn Diagrams for Kids

Venn Diagrams are a useful tool for students to use when comparing or contrasting things.

I have 2 free Venn Diagrams for you to use with your students. One has 2 circles and the other has 3 circles.

Here is a description of a Venn Diagram from an earlier post.

A Venn Diagram is a graphic organizer that compares/contrasts two or more things.

When students compare and contrast, they observe the similarities and differences between things. The Venn Diagram shows how things are alike and how they are different.

A Venn Diagram is made with two (or more) overlapping circles. Where the circles overlap, students write the characteristics that the things have in common. To the right and left of the overlapping area is where students list the differing characteristics of the things.

You can find both of these printables on my website. I hope your students enjoying using them. The Venn Diagrams can be used with any subject!

Today is the first day of July and our weather here in New England was scorching hot plus we had torrential rain showers for part of the day.

This is the perfect type of weather to need quiet indoor games for the kids to use. 

I just uploaded my newest free printable CVC word game to my website for you to download from your computer.

CVC WORD GAME - SHORT O

This game is called Roll and Read CVC Word Game - Letter O. 

To play the game, children need to roll the dice (or 1 die) and read the (3 letter) words that they land on. The children take turns rolling the dice and reading a word. The first person to reach the end is the winner. 

The children will use the phonics / reading game to review and practice reading consonant - vowel - consonant words with short o. The game has 25 words with the short vowel o.

This game includes the word families ob, od, og, om, op, ot, and ox.

The game can be printed on one page. It can be downloaded from my website anytime at your convenience.
