Dog Paper Bag Craft and Books

Dogs are Mammals.

The kids might enjoy making this fun paper bag dog and reading some books about dogs.

Materials

• paper bag
• white paper (optional)
• crayons
• scissors
• glue
• printer and 1-2 pieces of paper
• template 1 from DLTK
• template 2  from DLTK (optional)

There are so many good dog books to choose from. It you'd like to tie in Language Arts choose a fiction book. If you'd rather incorporate Science into the lesson choose a non-fiction book about dogs, mammals, vertebrates, or animals.
