Here is a simple craft activity that's great if you are teaching a unit on penguins or if you are home with the kids on a snow day! Only a few materials are needed.

It's 18 degrees here in New England and we are in the middle of a storm that is leaving us with 14 to 24 inches of snow! Yikes!
Materials
- construction paper (black, white, and orange)
- scissors
- google eyes
- paste or glue
Directions
- Cut 5 heart shapes (1 large white, 2 medium black, 3 small orange)
- Cut one of the black hearts in half.
- Assemble the parts and glue or paste. See the picture above.
- Add a set of google eyes!
