EEK! Spider Craft Activities and Resources

Are the kids seeing lots of spiders around this summer??? Do they understand that spiders are not insects (6 legs). Spiders are arachnids (8 legs). Other arachnids are scorpions, ticks, and mites.

Here are a few crafts and resources to help children distinguish the difference between these two animal classifications while having a fun and relaxing summer.

    1. Thanks for visiting. My friend that lives in Arizona has scorpions in her area. We don't see them here in the Northeast. We do see spiders! :)
