 Graphic Organizers are great tools for students to use. They help organize information especially during the pre-learning and prewriting stages. There are many kinds.

The Concept Organization Organizer (Web) helps students remember and include details about a topic.

The KWL Chart shows what you already know about a topic and what you want to learn. It finally shares what you learned.

Cycle Diagrams show the steps in a process. Arrows point from one event to the next. Details can be written or illustrated.
