Three Dimensional Shapes, also called Solid Figures, have height, length, and width.
Even very young children can learn about some of the different shapes.

- After viewing the video, students could read books about 3D Shapes.
 
- Students could also explore their environment (inside and outside) to look for 3D Shapes (Solid Figures).

- Students could explore 3D Geometric Solids MANIPULATIVES.
 - I have found some made of sponge, plastic, and wood.
 - Check Dollar Stores, Target, Michaels, and Amazon.

- Students could use clay to mold their own 3D solid figures.
 - Students could also construct models of solid figures with various manipulatives (toothpicks and mini-marshmallows, toothpicks with clay, etc.)
