Paper Octopus Craft Activity

An octopus is a mollusk that lives in the ocean. It has no backbone. Its foot is divided into 8 tentacles. They are arranged around its mouth.  The tentacles have suckers for holding on to food. It mostly eats crabs.  The octopus does not have a shell.

The kids might like making this fun octopus made with recycled materials.

Watch the video for a list of materials needed and directions.

The children might also enjoy reading some interesting books about octopuses.
